The BIGGER the Better!

Bigger the Better BC Grown

At Thrifty Foods, our farmers will only pick your cherries once they're plump, sweet, and ready to eat. They wait until the cherries swell in size to perfection in the balmy weather of the Okanagan Valley. As a result, we promise to bring you only the best, largest cherries available each and every week during this year's cherry growing season.

Did you know that a bigger cherry means more delicious flesh to eat? Unlike the pits in some fruits, cherry pits don't vary much in size. And this year we are doing our best to bring in 10 row and larger cherries. Of course Mother Nature can derail the most well thought out plans, but we'll do our best to deliver on this promise!

Check out the video below to see how our cherries make their way from the Okanagan Valley to our stores!
