From shore to store, Thrifty Foods is passionate about providing sustainable seafood options to British Columbians. We were one of the first Ocean Wise retail grocery partners in BC. Ocean Wise is a Vancouver Aquarium program, an organization committed to educating and empowering consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood. The importance of education is vital to ensure that our customers make ocean-friendly buying decisions.

To help bring awareness to the importance of seafood traceability, we partnered with Ecotrust Canada in 2011 to launch Thisfish.info, a site dedicated to helping you trace your fish from shore to store.
