Gourmet at Home - Part 1
Have you ever wanted to recreate a gourmet meal you had at a great restaurant, but weren't quite sure how to go about it? In this hands-on class, you'll learn tips and techniques for gourmet cooking at home - from plating to paring learn how to use everyday ingredients and make them into a mouth-watering gourmet meal in the comfort of your own kitchen!
In this series class you will learn how to make:
- Sour Cherry-maple Glazed Chicken
- Crispy Potato Pancakes
- Sweet Baby Carrots
Note: Since this class is hands-on, please wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing. You will be supplied with an apron and recipes.

Vegan Baking, Part 2 - Simple Breads
Embark on a journey in vegan baking with Paul Williams and learn how to make simple breads. The evening will cover recipes and techniques for preparing and baking addictive Foccacia with Caramelized Onions, scrumptious Naan with Roasted Garlic, and a delightful Fig and Date bread - showing you again that a plant-based diet can be rewarding, healthy and satisfying. Remember you are what you eat! So join Paul for some merriment and leave feeling inspired to explore new ways of eating.

Spelt Crust Pizzas
Who doesn't love pizza? Learn how to make personal-size healthy pizzas with spelt grain crusts along side personal chef Laura Moore: "The Good for You Gourmet." Students will knead and press their own spelt pizza dough, and prepare "homemade" pizza sauce to assemble these delicious pizzas:
- Sausage Lovers Pizza with Organic Sausage, Zucchini, Chard Greens and Mozzarella
- Vegetarian Greek Pizza with Goat Feta, Organic Spinach, Bell Peppers, Pine Nuts and Mozzarella

Unlock the flavours of truly authentic Indian cuisine! Inspired by Chef Heidi's travels in India, this class is perfect for those who love curry but can never make their curries taste "right." In this class, Chef Heidi will focus on the key techniques that make vibrant, full-bodied Indian Food. Highlights of tonight's menu include:

Basic Gluten-Free Cooking
In these classes you will learn just how delightful gluten-free foods can be with instructor Leeann Moir! We'll begin with the basics of gluten-free cooking, starting with foods we all use, from waffles/pancakes, quiche, bread/buns and desserts to Christmas treasures like shortbread, fruitcake and pumpkin pie. For the children we'll throw in some nutritious foods they'll actually eat, like Green Soup, Bean and Cheese Enchiladas, Hot Wings and Bean Flour Pizza. The course will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, kids foods and holiday baking. Tips on gluten-free baking will be included in each course set. An optional tour of Thrifty Foods Tuscany Village for ingredients used during class will be included right afterwards.
