Thrifty Foods Barbecue Chicken and Chicken Pieces Purchased at Port Place Nanaimo Location May Contain Possible Chemical Contaminant

Victoria, BC - Thrifty Foods Port Place is warning the public not to consume Whole Barbecue Chicken, Chicken Breasts or Chicken Legs produced and sold hot at the store on January 3, 2014 between 3-6 p.m.

Products described below may have come in contact with a chemical contaminant.

The following Products, with the best before date of January 4, 2014 only:

These products were sold at Thrifty Foods, Port Place 650 South Terminal Avenue, Nanaimo, British Columbia only.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Thrifty Foods Port Place is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. 

Customers may return the affected products to any Thrifty Foods location for a full refund.
