Combine 1/4 cup chili powder, 2 Tbsp. ground cumin, 1 Tbsp. oregano, 2 tsp. smoked paprika, 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, 2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper, 2 tsp. coarse sea or kosher salt, 4 tsp. granulated sugar, 1 tsp. onion, and 1 tsp. garlic powder. Store in a tightly sealing jar. Makes 3/4 cup. Use on just about anything barbecued, such as ribs, kebabs, steaks and chicken.
