How to Make Lunchbox Pinwheels

How to Make Lunchbox Pinwheels
Colourful, kid-friendly bites you can fill in a range of tasty ways.

Step 1

Spread and top a wrap or tortilla with desired fillings. Possible combinations include cream cheese, sliced turkey, grated carrot, dried cranberries and pea shoots; hummus, cucumber sticks, crumbled feta and cubed bell peppers; almond butter, cut strawberries, cubed mango and coconut flakes; refried beans, salsa, cubed, cooked chicken and grated cheese.

Step 2

Roll wrap or tortilla into a tight cylinder. If time allows, wrap, refrigerate and chill this roll at least 30 minutes (this will make it easier to cut into clean slices). Slice the roll into 1” or so pieces.

Step 3

Pack for lunch, ensuring the pinwheels using perishable items are kept chilled.
