Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place halibut in a single layer in non-stick baking dish. Drizzle with the olive oil and orange juice; season with salt and pepper. Place almonds in a single layer in another dish. Bake the halibut and almonds 12- 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the almonds are lightly toasted. While this occurs, divide and arranges the orange slices on 4 plates. Set the halibut a top the oranges. Divide and arrange almonds and basil on and around the fish. Spoon the halibut's cooking juices over top. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

To keep this meal on the light side serve the fish with a lightly dressed salad composed of mixed organic baby green, cherry tomatoes, yellow bell peppers, and cucumbers. The halibut would also go nicely with steamed rice and asparagus.
