Fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Add bell pepper and celery and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add green onion and cook 1 minute more. Remove from the heat and mix in the lemon juice, Worcestershire and Tabasco.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Place oysters in a baking dish. (If desired, to help the oysters sit level, you could nestle them in a bed of coarse salt.) Divide and top oysters with the bacon mixture. Bake for 10 minutes, or until oysters are hot.
