Combine the first 7 ingredients in a sided dish just large enough to hold the meat. Add the steak, turn to coat, and marinate in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Lightly oil grill and then grill steak to desired doneness; allowing 2 to 3 minutes per side for rare; 3 to 4 for medium rare; and 4 to 5 for medium.
