Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Add the strawberries and toss to combine. Cover and let the strawberries macerate 20 minutes. Add the salad greens to the bowl and toss to combine with the strawberry mixture. Divide the salad among plates, ensuring some of the strawberries decorate the top of the salad. Divide and top each salad with nuggets of the cheese and walnuts. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

Create a decadent three-course dinner for four by starting the meal with this salad, and following it with an entrée and dessert created from recipes in our website collection, such as Filo-wrapped Chicken with Roasted Peppers and Brie, and Lemon Pudding Cake.

Instead of baby greens, use baby spinach or chopped leaf lettuce to make this salad. For a stronger cheese taste, instead of goat cheese, top the salad with nuggets of blue cheese. Instead of walnuts, top this salad with an equal amount of pecan halves.
