Method

Place all the ingredients, except the oil, in a bowl and mix until just combined. With cold-water moistened hands, divide the mixture into 8 balls. Shape each ball into a 1/2 inch thick patty. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until entirely cooked through.
