Method

Spread the cabbage in the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle the onion and apricots over the cabbage. Heat oil in a large skillet set over medium-high. Season the chops with salt and pepper, brown on both sides, and set on top of the cabbage, arranging them so they sit in a single layer. Drain any fat from the skillet; set back on medium-high heat.
Place the stock in a bowl and whisk in the flour until lump-free. Mix in the orange juice, garlic and sage. Pour this mixture into the skillet, bring to a boil, and then pour over the pork. Cover and cook on the low setting 8 hours.

Note: This recipe is designed for an oval-shaped slow cooker with a 5 litre or more capacity.
