Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cover a baking sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside. Rinse the salmon in cold water and pat dry. With a sharp knife make 5 or 6, 1/2-inch deep slits into the flesh of the salmon on both sides. Place salmon on prepared baking sheet. Brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil. Combine spices in a small bowl, then sprinkle and rub on to the salmon. Bake the salmon 35-40 minutes, or until cooked through.
