3 Ways to Use Greek Yogurt

BC made Tree Island Greek Yogurt is a versatile ingredient. Here are three simple ways to use it.

No-cook Overnight Oats

Combine 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup plain or flavoured Tree Island Greek Yogurt, 1/3 cup milk and 1 tsp. chia seeds in a jar. Cover and refrigerate overnight. When needed, spoon oats into a bowl, sweeten and top as desired, and serve.

Herb Yogurt Sauce

In a bowl, combine 1 cup plain Tree Island Greek Yogurt, 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (cilantro, oregano, mint and/or parsley), 1 sliced green onion, 1 Tbsp each olive oil and lemon juice, honey, cayenne and salt, to taste. Serve this light, tangy sauce with fish, such as halibut or steelhead.

Lemon Curd Yogurt Fool

Make this dessert by placing 2 cups plain Tree Island Greek Yogurt in a bowl. Swirl in 2/3 cup lemon curd (sold in our jam aisle). Divide and spoon mixture into 4, 6 oz. glasses. Top with raspberries, dust with icing sugar, and enjoy.
