How to Dice an Onion
Here's the easiest and fastest way to dice an onion!
Step 1:
Cut onion in half through the root end. Remove the skin.
Step 2:
Set a half onion cut side down on a secured cutting board. Using the tip of a sharp knife, make vertical slices toward the root end, without cutting completely through.
Step 3:
Now make vertical slices toward the root end, without cutting completely through.
Step 4:
Carefully slice and dice the onion toward the root end. The thinner you slice, the finer your dice will be. Cut and dice the other half onion in this fashion.
