How to Grill Brie

Quickly grilling Brie gives it a pleasing smoky taste and makes the centre warm, creamy and divine.

Step 1

Preheat barbecue or indoor grill to medium-high. Lightly brush a round of Brie with olive oil.

Step 2

Lightly oil your grill. Set the cheese on the grill and after 30 seconds give it a one-quarter turn (this will give the cheese a nice crosshatch pattern on top). Cook the cheese 30 to 90 seconds more then flip over and grill 1 to 2 minutes on the other side. (The longer it grills, the softer and more fluid the cheese becomes in the middle).

Step 3

Set cheese on a board and serve warm with crackers and/or sliced baguette and a preserve, such as plum or fig jam or pepper jelly.
