How to Make Wine Cork Garden Markers

Use corks from empty wine bottles as DIY plant markers in your garden! Here’s how:

Step 1

Write the name of each plant on a separate cork using a permanent marker.

Step 2

Insert a wooden or metal skewer at the base of the cork.

Step 3

Place the skewers into the soil beside each respective plant! It’s that simple! Note: you might have to trim the skewer depending how deep the area is where you’re inserting your markers.
