How to Peel Peaches

If you need to peel a peach for a canning or dessert recipe, here's how.

Step 1:

Mark a shallow X into the blossom end of each peach you want to peel.

Step 2:

Submerge in boiling water 1 to 2 minutes, or until skins just begin to slip away.

Step 3:

Drain peaches well, cool in ice-cold water, slip off the skins, and use as desired.
