How to Bake Halibut in Parchment Paper

Cooking fish in parchment paper seals in its delicious flavour and provides visual appeal at the table.

Step 1:

Cut an 18 x 15-inch piece of Compliments parchment paper. Fold paper, widthwise, in half, and then cut that rectangle into a large, half heart-shape.

Step 2:

Unfold the paper. Set a 140 to 170 gram fillet of fish and the items you’ll bake with it on one side of the paper.

Step 3:

Fold the other side of the paper over the fish. Starting at the curve of the half heart, seal the paper together by firmly making short, overlapping folds. When you reach the end, fold over the tip of the paper a few times to seal the package. Set package on baking sheet and cook in 400˚F oven 12 to 14 minutes, until paper has puffed and contents are bubbling inside.
