No-fuss Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire pudding is a traditional English food, often served with roast. This method for Yorkshire pudding does not require preheating the pan.

Step 1:

Place 6 large eggs in a bowl and beat well. Mix in ¾ cup milk, ¾ cup water, a pinch of nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk in 1½ cups of all-purpose flour.

Step 2:

Preheat oven to 450˚F. Thoroughly grease a good-quality (scratch-free) non-stick muffin pan with oil spray. Pour in batter almost to the top. Bake 10 minutes.

Step 3:

Reduce oven to 325°F. Bake 35 to 40 minutes more, or until puddings are puffed, golden and almost dry in the centre. When cool enough to handle, carefully remove from pan.
