Method

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Heat the oil in a large skillet set over medium heat. Add the onion, celery and apples and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Place the mixture in a large bowl, add all remaining ingredients and toss to combine. Pack the mixture into a buttered 9" x 13" baking dish. Cover and bake the dressing for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more before serving alongside your roast poultry or pork.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this tasty dressing with roast turkey, Cornish hen, chicken, pork or veal. Or, make the dressing one of the dishes served at an autumn, vegetarian dinner buffet.
