Beat cream cheese until light, and then mix in remaining ingredients, saving a few green onions to sprinkle on top. Place in a baking dish (can be made ahead to this point a day in advance and stored in the fridge). Cover and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 20-30 minutes, or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining green onions and serve. Serve with bread slices, crackers, and vegetable sticks. Makes about 3 cups.
