Method

Melt the butter in a large wide pot set over medium heat. Add cabbage, carrot, and onion and sauté 4 to 5 minutes. Add the stock and garlic and bring to a simmer. Braise the cabbage and carrots until tender and most of the stock has evaporated, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the parsley, salt and pepper.
