Method

Place the strawberries, yogurt and sour cream in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth. Spoon into a medium-sized bowl; mix in remaining ingredients, except garnish. Refrigerate 2 hours. Stir soup, and then ladle into chilled soup bowls. Garnish with basil and strawberries slices and serve.

Serving Suggestions

To be at their best cold soups must be served very cold, not lukewarm. The latter would be akin to serving a hot soup the same way. Chill the soup and the bowls it will be served in, in the fridge several hours before serving.
