Method

Place the cream in a small pot. Warm over medium heat until the cream comes to just below a boil. Add the chocolate and whisk until it is melted and a smooth mixture is created. Mix in the orange liqueur. Quickly transfer to a small heat-proof bowl and serve with strawberries for dipping.

Note: Reheat any leftover chocolate mixture in the microwave the next day or two and drizzle over ice cream or slices of cake.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this chocolaty treat with a glass of dessert wine, liqueur or fortified wine, such as BC ice wine, orange liqueur, or blackberry port.
