Method

Preheat the oven 350 degrees F. Place the oil in a Dutch oven or other ovenproof pot and set over medium to medium-high heat. When hot, add the onion and garlic and cook until the tender, about 5 minutes. Mix in the next 8 ingredients. Gently mix in the beans. Cover and bake for 60 minutes, or until beans are bubbling and delicious. Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
