- Combine pork and salad dressing in a bowl. Cover, refrigerate and marinate pork at least 4 hours, and up to overnight.
- Preheat indoor grill or barbecue to medium-high. Divide and thread pork on 4 skewers. Grill pork for 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
- Serve the souvlaki with the pita bread and remaining ingredients.
Make chicken or turkey souvlaki by replacing the pork with cubes of chicken or turkey breast or thigh. Cooking time and technique remains the same. Give the souvlaki added colour and a fresh taste by sprinkling it with some chopped fresh oregano or parsley, to taste, after it’s cooked and plated.
