  1. Combine eggnog, milk and coffee in a small pot and whisk to combine. Bring to just below a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Remove pot from heat and with an immersion (hand) blender, whirl the mixture until foamy on top. If you don’t have an immersion blender, you could very, very vigorously whip eggnog mixture with a whisk in the pot until foamy.
  3. Divide and pour eggnog latte between two cups, holding back some of the foam with a spoon when pouring. Now top each latte with that foam. Sprinkle each latte with a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon and serve.

Recipe Options: If you have an espresso maker with a steam spout, you could, of course, also use that to warm up the eggnog mixture and make it foamy. For an alcoholic taste, pour a splash or two of brandy or rum into each cup before pouring in the eggnog latte.

Serving Suggestions

Enjoy this latte when you need something warm and seasonal to sip on after a winter walk or other activity. You could also serve the latte with a sweet treat you make from a recipe in our website collection, such as Mini Ginger Shortbread with Marmalade Centre, or Ice Box Cookies Flavoured Three Ways.
