Method

Place the first 10 ingredients in a bowl and mix until just combined.

With cold-water moistened hands, divide the mixture into 8 balls. Shape each ball into a 1/2" thick patty. 

Place the oil in a large skillet set over medium, to medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until entirely cooked through. Plate and serve the patties with tzatziki sauce.

Note: A Quinoa flake is quinoa that has been flattened. It makes a nice coating or filling for food. In this recipe it replaces the bread crumbs often added to meat patties. You’ll find quinoa flakes for sale in our Bulk Foods Department. Tzatziki sauce is sold in our deli department.
