Preheat your barbecue to medium-high (about 425 degrees F in the chamber). Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Layer the sheets of foil. Arrange the potatoes in an overlapping single layer in the centre of the foil. Top the potatoes with the onion. Drizzle potatoes and onions with the oil/lemon juice mixture; season with salt and pepper.
Fold the foil over the potatoes and seal the top. Place the package on one side the barbecue. Turn the heat off under the potatoes; leave the other side at medium-high. Close the lid and cook potatoes 25 to 30 minutes, or until tender. When the potatoes are done, remove from the barbecue and keep warm in 200 degrees F oven.
Grill the sausages on the hot side of the barbecue 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Unwrap the potatoes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with the sausages.
