Butter one side of each bread slice. Top the unbuttered side of two of the slices with a slice of each cheese. Set on the other bread slices, buttered side up. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sandwiches and grill 4 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Rest sandwiches a minute, then cut and serve.

Note: The cheese slices are sold in our Deli. Ensure they cover the entire surface of the bread.

Serving Suggestions

If desired, accent the flavour of the cheese with other fillings, such as thinly sliced apple or pear, thin slices of smoky ham or turkey, thin slices of ripe tomatoes or avocado, baby spinach, or caramelized onions.
