Combine the first 7 ingredients in a medium to large bowl. Add the fruit and gently toss to coat. Cover and marinate fruit in the refrigerator 2 hours. Divide and thread the fruit on 6 skewers. Arrange skewers on a platter, top with some of the marinade, and then serve.
If desired, serve the skewers with plain or flavoured yogurt for dipping.
Recipe Options: Instead of honey, use maple syrup as the sweetener in the marinade. Replace one or more of the fruits called for in the recipe with others that appeal. Other cubed and peeled fruit that would work on these skewers include mango, papaya, honeydew and watermelon.
