Place the milk and cream in a heavy-bottomed, medium pot and set over medium heat. Bring mixture to the scalding point (just below a boil). Mix in the chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and cayenne. Stir constantly until the chocolate it is melted and well incorporated into the liquid. Heat through a minute or 2, and then pour into cups and enjoy.
