Combine all the ingredients, except the cheese, in a tight-sealing jar. Add the cheese and turn to coat with marinade. Seal the jar and marinate the cheese overnight in the fridge. Warm the cheese to room temperature and serve as an appetizer with thin slices of crusty bread.

Serving Suggestions

Make a tasty appetizer by spreading thin, toasted slices of baguette or filone bread with pesto then top each with a paper-thin slice of prosciutto. Top the prosciutto with a piece of the marinated bocconcini. Drizzle the cheese with some of its marinade. Serve these bites with a cool glass of BC white or sparkling wine.
