Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spread baguette slices with a thin layer of cream cheese, and then place on baking sheet. Divide and set ham on top of the cream cheese. Set an asparagus tip or two on top of the ham. Top with cheddar cheese, and then bake 10-15 minutes, until that cheese is melted and the baguette is slightly crisp on the bottom. Cool slightly, and then transfer to a serving tray and enjoy.

Note: To make prepare the asparagus tips, cut off and save the top two inches of 24-48, depending in size, asparagus spears. You may wish to cut thicker spears in half lengthwise. Cook the asparagus tips in boiling water until just tender, about 2 minutes. Drain well, cool in cold water, drain well again, and pat dry.
