Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl.

Moisten your hands with cold water. Roll the meat into 1¼" balls and set on the baking sheet. Roast 18 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the meatballs cook, place the remaining ingredients in a wide skillet set over medium to medium-high heat.

Bring to a simmer, and whisk to melt the jelly and create a smooth sauce. When cooked, add the meatballs to the sauce, simmer a few minutes, and then serve.

Note: This appetizer could be readied several hours in advance. To do so, after adding the meatballs to the sauce, cool to room temperature, refrigerate, and then reheat when ready to serve.
