Boil the potatoes until firm-tender. Add the garlic and cook 1-2 minutes more. Drain the potatoes and garlic well. Place in a single layer in a sided dish. Add the olive oil, rosemary and lemon juice and turn to coat. Let potatoes cool to room temperature. Divide and thread potatoes and garlic among 4 long metal or bamboo skewers (soaked in cold water to prevent scorching). Grill skewers over medium-high heat, basting with juices remaining in the dish, until heated through and nicely coloured.

Serving Suggestions

Serve these skewers alongside just about anything you barbecue, such as lamb, steaks, kebabs, chicken and salmon. For a vegetarian meal, serve them alongside other grilled vegetables and accompany with hummus or bean salad.
