Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Season the pork with salt and pepper; coat in the flour. Heat the oil in a large skillet set over medium-high. Brown the pork and then set in a 9" x 13" baking dish. Pour in the stock, sprinkle with sage, cover and bake 75 minutes.

While the pork cooks, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl. When the pork has cooked 75 minutes, remove the meat from the pan and set on a plate. Spoon the cabbage mixture over top the liquid in the dish. Nestle the pork on top of the cabbage. Cover and bake 35 to 40 minutes more, or until the cabbage is tender.

Serving Suggestions

To round out this meal, serve the pork with boiled new potatoes and steamed mini carrots and snap peas.
