Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil to cook the linguini. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook 3-4 minutes. Add the wine, lemon juice and zest, pasta sauce, salt, pepper and sugar. Loosely cover and gently simmer 10 minutes.
Add the linguini to the boiling water and cook until just tender. When the sauce has simmered 10 minutes, add the prawns and 2 Tbsp. of the parsley. Cook until prawns are just heated through, 1-2 minutes. Drain the pasta and it to the sauce; gently toss. Sprinkle portions of the pasta with remaining parsley.
