Method

Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the vegetables and cook, stirring, 3-4 minutes. Mix in flour until well combined. Slowly stir in the milk. Add the potatoes, dill, and bay leaf. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Add the cod and simmer 10 minutes more, or until potatoes and fish are tender. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
