Method

  1. Divide and mound garden salad blend on each of 4 plates. Now top with the bacon.
  2. Artfully top each salad with all remaining ingredients, except dressing. 
  3. Serve the salads and let diners top theirs with ranch dressing, to taste

Note 1: Half of one our whole Deli BBQ chickens will yield the amount of chicken needed for this recipe. To shred, pull the meat off the bone into 2 inches or so long pieces, that are about 1/2 inch wide. Save the other half chicken for another use.

Note 3: To make homemade ranch dressing, combine, in a bowl, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cup buttermilk, 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar, 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar, 1 green onion, very thinly sliced, 1 small, minced garlic clove, and salt and pepper, to taste.
