Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Place the snapper on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Brush the top of the fish with the mayonnaise. Sprinkle the fish with the tortilla chip mixture.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish is just cooked through. Set the fish on plates with a generous spoon of the salsa alongside. Garnish with lime slices and serve.
Note: Approximately 24 to 30 tortilla chips will yield the 1/2 cup of crushed chips required for this recipe. They can be crushed in a food processor, or by placing them in zip-lock bag and crushing them with a kitchen hammer.
