Divide and mound lettuce between 4 dinner plates. Arrange the remaining ingredients, except dressing, on top of the lettuce. Serve salad with the dressing and let diner’s flavour their salad with it, to taste.
Recipe Options: You can serve this with store-bought or homemade ranch dressing. To make the latter, combine, in a bowl, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cup buttermilk, 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar, 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar, 1 green onion, very thinly sliced, 1 small, minced garlic clove, and salt and pepper, to taste.
