Method

  1. Place rice beverage in a small pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Set in tea bags, remove from the heat, cover pot and let tea steep 5 minutes.
  2. While tea steeps, place yogurt, agave syrup, almonds and banana in your food processor. When tea has steeped, remove tea bags from the liquid, and then pour the liquid into the blender. Puree the mixture until very smooth, and then immediately pour into glasses and serve. If desired, garnish each drink with a cinnamon stock and/or a sprinkling of ground cinnamon.

Recipe Options: Instead of rice beverage, steep the tea in almond or coconut beverage. Instead of agave syrup, sweeten the smoothie with honey.
